Hello. We would like to take the time to introduce ourselves. Doll Law Firm is made up of two active attorneys and two support staff. Let's get to know each other a little better.

We know you are curious.
Go ahead, take a peek.

Hello. My name is Mike Doll.

My roots are in Southwest Kansas. I was born in Dodge City and raised in Ingalls. I attended college in Dodge City at St. Mary of the Plains College, which I am proud to say. After a short stint farming--which convinced me I should be a lawyer--I was admitted to the Kansas University School of Law, from which I graduated in 1983.

After graduation, I went to work for Mangan, Dalton, Trenkle and Rebein in Dodge City, I was lucky to have these great lawyers as my mentors. In 1995, I was asked by my good friend, Dave Snapp, to join his practice. I partnered with Dave until 2010--thanks, Dave.

Luckily, for me, changes in my life have always occurred for the better. In 2010, Sarah graduated from Washington University. I offered to open a new office with her, not really expecting it to happen. But, luckily, it did. And here we are.

My mission is to be a "counselor" at law. I strive to properly advise people or businesses about their legal rights and remedies. My hope is to fix legal problems and provide legal assistance to those who need it.

The future is bright. We have a great and competent staff.

We are family here.

In recent years, I have retired and am no longer taking cases. However, I am confident at Sarah and Megan can meet all of your needs.

            Hi. I'm Sarah Doll Heeke.

I am Dodge City born and bred. After graduating from Dodge City High School, I went on to obtain a degree in Social Work from Kansas State University. The tools that I learned as a part of my social work education are ones that I cherish--and ones I utilize daily in the practice of law. Following  my stint in social work, I ventured outside of Kansas to pursue my legal education. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. While there, my focus was primarily on family law, mediation and immigration--people law, as I like to call it. In June of 2010, my dad, Mike, and I took a leap of faith and opened this practice together. Doll Law Firm was born and we could not be more proud of the practice we have built together. Currently, my primary focus is on family law, child in need of care proceedings and mediation. I recently completed courses in civil mediation, domestic meditation and parent coordination.

My husband, Justin, and I are the proud parents of three beautiful children. My family is my life's breath. Justin is a seventh grade teacher and a basketball coach at Comanche Middle School. Rileigh, Addison and Bennett keep us busy with their various activities.

I believe strongly in community involvement. I serve on the board of Boot Hill Museum and Dodge City Housing Authority. Don't be surprised to see my face in the crowd cheering on a high school basketball game, taking in a local production or passing out flyers on the street.

Dodge City is my home and a place I am happy to raise my family and foster my practice. This office started with family, and that family-feel remains the center of our practice. We welcome you to become a part.

Hello. I'm Megan Weddle.

Weddle Fam bw.jpg

I was born and raised on a farm in Bern, Kansas, a small rural community located in the northeast corner of the state. After graduating from high school I earned a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Kansas State University. Following college I set aside my love of all things purple, and headed to Lawrence to earn my law degree at the University of Kansas just this past year.

I always knew that I wanted to practice law in a small town, so I jumped at the opportunity to move to western Kansas and begin my career at DLF. Not only am I drawn to DLF’s family and teamwork atmosphere, but I am also drawn to the general sense of community within Dodge City. Although I am many miles away from family and lifelong friends, I feel right at home on this side of the state.

My practice consists of a mixture of family law, juvenile law and criminal defense.

I spend my time away from the office keeping up with my family. My husband, Colby, owns a landscaping business, so he keeps us outdoors a lot. We also try to keep up with the endless energy of our daughter, Willamina, and look forward to watching her baby brother, George, follow in her footsteps.
